Airport Transfers
Getting to and from Tokyo's airports
Narita Airport (NRT) → Tokyo: Narita Express (N'EX) takes 60 min to Shinjuku/Tokyo Station (¥3,070). The Keisei Skyliner is cheaper: 41 min to Ueno (¥2,570). Airport Limousine Buses run to major hotels (¥3,200, 60–90 min).
Haneda Airport (HND) → Tokyo: Haneda is much closer to central Tokyo. Tokyo Monorail connects to Hamamatsucho (15 min, ¥520). Keikyu Line goes directly to Shinagawa (20 min, ¥330). Taxi to Shinjuku ~¥6,000 (40 min).
Kansai Airport (KIX) → Osaka/Kyoto: The Haruka Limited Express goes to Kyoto (75 min, ¥3,570). Nankai Line to Namba (Osaka, 35 min, ¥1,270). Airport bus to Kyoto (90 min, ¥2,800).
Book airport limousine buses online for peace of mind — they're comfortable with luggage storage underneath and drop you at major hotels. Luggage forwarding (takkyubin) is also available at airport counters.
